Amman Arab University Enhances Graduates' Job Market Readiness with Specialized Training Course in Collaboration with "DEI"

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, represented by the Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office, in cooperation with DEI Company, organized a training course titled "Enhancing Graduates' Readiness and Professional Integration into the Job Market." The course targeted university students and members of the local community and spanned four days.

The training was delivered by Dr. Asmahan Al-Taher and Dr. Lana Jolabali, certified trainers from DEI Company. It covered practical and cognitive topics aimed at boosting graduates' readiness to enter the job market by developing skills in CV writing, conducting job interviews, teamwork, and effective communication. These efforts contribute to increasing their chances of securing suitable employment and achieving professional excellence.

In this context, Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, representing Dr. Mohammad Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the trainers from DEI and the course participants. He praised the preparedness of the Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office, represented by Mr. Wael Al-Hourani, the office director, and the efforts made to enhance students' expertise and refine their personal and professional skills. This contributes to qualifying them for integration into the job market. The implementation of this course is part of a series of training sessions and workshops conducted by the Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office in collaboration with specialized training institutions as part of the student skills portfolio.

It is worth noting that DEI is a company specializing in "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training." This training is designed to help organizations build more inclusive, respectful, and equitable work environments. Such training covers various topics, including: understanding and appreciating differences among people in the workplace, such as race, gender, age, sexual orientation, cultural background, and more (Diversity); ensuring fair treatment, access, and opportunities for all employees while addressing imbalances that may marginalize underrepresented groups (Equity); and fostering a work environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported, with diverse perspectives actively integrated into decision-making processes (Integration).
