Amman Arab University Organizes Workshop on "Conflict Analysis and Peacebuilding" with Baklan Development Organization

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, in collaboration with Baklan Development Organization, conducted a training workshop titled "Conflict Analysis and Peacebuilding." The session engaged students from diverse disciplines, aligning with the university’s efforts to promote a culture of peace and develop students’ competencies in community and developmental fields.

Facilitated by Mr. Hamza Al-Ansi and Engineer Enas Shneikat, the workshop covered essential themes including وCore concepts of conflict: its stages, levels, and analysis tools, UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace, and Security,The Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace, and Security (2023–2028) The initiative aimed to equip students for meaningful participation in regional and international conferences addressing peace and security issues.

Mr. Fuad Tubishat, Head of the Student Activities Section (representing Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs), welcomed trainers and participants. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building youth awareness regarding conflict and peace challenges in the Arab world. Baklan Development Organization is a non-profit entity focused on youth empowerment and capacity-building in sustainable development. Its activities center on promoting peace, justice, and human rights through training programs and community initiatives in partnership with local and international academic institutions. The organization strives to foster a generation capable of driving positive societal change.

This workshop forms part of ongoing collaborative activities between Amman Arab University and Baklan, strengthening partnerships to empower students and pave their way toward active engagement in community development and decision-making.
