In line with its vision and mission to strengthen its role in community service and local development, faculty members from the Faculty of Business at Amman Arab University took part in a volunteer initiative to paint sidewalks and walls at Abu Hamed School, located on Jordan Street in the Abu Hamed area. This effort was part of the university’s preparations to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The initiative was carried out under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to its societal responsibilities. The university emphasized that faculty members are not only pillars of the educational and academic process but also active contributors to national and humanitarian initiatives. Through this event, the university highlighted the importance of academic staff engagement in volunteer work, which fosters values of cooperation, belonging, and good citizenship among students and the local community.

Amman Arab University continues to reinforce its community presence by launching and supporting initiatives that enhance the local environment and strengthen partnerships with civil society institutions. This aligns with its vision of societal leadership and development, as well as its mission to build a more aware and collaborative community.
