Amman Arab University Students Participate in the Selection Camp for the “Sableh Al-Hassan” Program for Development and Voluntary Work 2025
As part of its commitment to promoting values of belonging and volunteerism, a group of students from Amman Arab University participated in the selection camp activities for the 2025 cycle of the “Sableh Al-Hassan” Program for Development and Voluntary Work, as part of the evaluation stages to select members of the Sableh. This program is one of the most prominent national initiatives aimed at fostering active citizenship, a sense of belonging, and a culture of volunteerism among Jordanian youth. The university’s participation in the camp was guided by Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and supported by Dr. Mohammad Bin Turaif, Dean of Student Affairs.
Dr. Bin Turaif noted that the students took part in a series of field activities and projects across various regions of the Kingdom, including maintenance and restoration work, tree planting, and the organization of awareness workshops that serve local communities. These efforts aim to strengthen cooperation and interaction among students from Jordanian universities and to promote meaningful contributions to national service through hands-on engagement.
On this occasion, Dr. Bin Turaif emphasized that Amman Arab University is consistently dedicated to developing students’ skills, leadership potential, and spirit of volunteerism. He also praised the positive role played by the Ministry of Youth and the Al-Hassan Youth Award in encouraging university students to participate in camps and programs that promote social responsibility and national engagement.
