
Delegation Headed by President of Amman Arab University Visits Royal Hashemite Court to Affirm Loyalty and National Belonging
As part of efforts to promote values of citizenship, belonging, and consolidate national awareness among university youth, a delegation from Amman Arab University undertook an official visit to the Royal Hashemite Court. The delegation was headed by the University President, Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, and included a number of faculty deans, members of the teaching staff, and students from various disciplines. The visit was organized by the University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The delegation was received by His Excellency Yousef Al-Isawi, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Chief of the Royal Court welcomed the delegation, expressing his pride in the efforts of Jordanian academic institutions and their role in serving the nation and society. His Excellency affirmed the steadfast position of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, both leadership and people, in supporting the Palestinian cause, stressing that Jordan will remain a faithful defender of the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people. His Excellency also spoke about the national holidays and occasions celebrated by the beloved nation, extending the highest congratulations and blessings to the wise Hashemite leadership and the loyal Jordanian people. He pointed to the significant support accorded by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, may God protect and preserve him, to the academic sector and Jordanian universities, recognizing the importance of education in building the future and fostering progress. His Excellency concluded his remarks by conveying the greetings of His Majesty, the Sovereign of the nation, to the delegation, along with his wishes for their continued success in serving the beloved Jordan.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Widyan expressed profound pride and loyalty to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, affirming that Amman Arab University stands united behind the Hashemite leadership, proud of its established national journey, and continues to fulfill its scientific and national mission. Dr. Muteb Al-utiabi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, emphasized the importance of this visit in consolidating the concepts of citizenship and national loyalty among students, confirming that such initiatives contribute to building a generation that is aware and steadfast in its national principles. Dr. Al-utabi also highlighted the depth of the historical fraternal relationship binding the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with the sisterly State of Kuwait.
For their part, Dr. Bilal Abu Qadoum, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia; Dr. Mohammad Al-Shreideh, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences; and Dr. Mahmoud Abu Juma from the Faculty of Business expressed their pride in the Hashemite leadership, which constitutes the safety valve of the nation. They pointed to the importance of supporting the national leadership in the educational journey, stating that this visit came to express feelings of pride and honor in national achievements, and emphasizing the importance of supporting national values in the educational process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation conveyed a message from Amman Arab University expressing the highest sentiments of loyalty and belonging to the Hashemite Throne, and pride in the beloved national occasions, such as Independence Day, the King's Accession to the Throne Day, and Flag Day. The message affirmed the University's continued commitment to performing its national and educational role in serving Jordan and preparing generations who carry in their hearts love for the homeland and its leadership.
